Canpotex is currently seeking a temporary Manager, Accounting (Terminals) (19-04) in the Finance Department in our Saskatoon Office. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 15 to 18 months.
Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the documentation and reporting of financial information for our terminals. You will be accountable for forecasting terminal costs, conducting financial analyses and overseeing the preparation of terminal budgets. You will supervise a small team of accountants in support of the terminal facility’s financial needs. You will be responsible for cash flow management, accounts payable, journal entries, and monthly cost reporting.
Utilizing your strong interpersonal skills, and your ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization, you will collaborate with others to understand our business to accomplish your goals. You are a problem solver, and you have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are adaptable, detail-orientated, and highly organized.
You are encouraged to apply if you hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance and hold a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. You will have a minimum of five years’ work experience in an accounting environment including two years in a supervisory role with strong leadership abilities.
